Inter President Tells Sneijder To Make A Decision On Galatasary Move

UKInter Milan president Massimo Moratti has urged Wesley Sneijder to make a decision on where his future lies by the end of the day.

The Dutch midfielder has been locked in talks with Galatasaray over a potential move to Istanbul this weekend after Inter accepted a reported €10million bid for his services.

Sneijder has not featured for the Nerazzurri since September having rejected a proposed two million euro pay cut, with Moratti just as eager to bring the uncomfortable stand-off to an end.

He told the Gazzetta dello Sport today:

“It would be professional if he would make his decision by the end of the day.”

It is pretty clear that Sneijder doesn’t want to go to Galatasaray. He wants to go to the Premier League, but his wages demands have scared off all the English clubs leaving him with only one potential destination.

On Saturday, a statement published on Gala’s official website read:

“The transfer of Wesley Sneijder has been agreed between Inter and the club, and negotiations are ongoing with the player.”

Part of the reason for the Inter President to get this Wesley Sneijder deal completed, is that Inter have a list of players that they are interested in signing this month. But they cannot do that until these receive the funds from the Sneijder sale.
