Chelsea and Everton With Big Wins In Premier League

Ashley Cole’s first goal since May 2010 earned Premier League league leaders a 1-0 win against , on a day when and continued to impress.

Chelsea FC are three points clear of the top of the Premier League following a 1-0 win at home to Stoke City FC.

They were replaced there by Reading whose wait for a first win continued as they lost 1-0 at West Brom. A 71st minute strike from Romelu Lukaku was enough to separate the sides and take the Baggies into third place.

It looked like Sunderland were going to get their first league win of the season but were denied at by Kevin Nolan’s goal in added time.
