Michael Bradley Helps Roma Maintain Lead in Serie A

MichaelBradleyRomaMichael Bradley scored eight minutes from time as AS Roma won for the ninth consecutive time as they Udinese 1-0, while title contenders Napoli and Juventus also won.

Roma’s perfect record this season was ion doubt when Maicon was sent off for a second bookable offense after 66 minutes at Undinese. Despite being a man down Roma kept pushing for a winner and it came in the 82nd minute when Kevin Strootman waited for the right moment and rolled across for Michael Bradley to blast low into the near bottom corner from just outside the box.

In Sunday’s early kick-off, Gonzalo Higuaín scored two first-half penalties as second-placed Napoli beat Torino 2-0, while Juventus beat Genoa buy the same score as Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tévez both scored.

Elsewhere,, Fiorentina came from behind to beat bottom of the table Chievo Verona 2-1 while Sassuolo drew 0-0 at Catania.

The game of the day was at Parma as they beat struggling AC Milan 3-2 thanks to an added-time goal from Marco Parolo effort. Milan are a massive 16 points behind leaders Roma and 11 points off the final Champions League place. Milan were in a similar place last year and we able to rally and grab one of those Champions League places. But with Roma, Napoli and Juventus all playing so well I wonder if the gap is already too big for Milan to overcome.
