Unlike in previous summers, Manchester United went with quality over quantity with the signings of Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.
Jose Mourinho wanted his transfer business done early and it was, unlike last years failed fax fiasco with Real Madrid and David de Gea.

Good Window?
I don’t think that anyone can argue that the four headline signings have significantly strengthened José Mourinho’s squad and a swagger has returned to Old Trafford for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson left.
Grade
Has to be an A. United went big with the world record signing of Paul Pogba, plus Zlatan on a free, Bailly is a beast in defense and Mkhitaryan will deliver assists. Mourinho cut out plenty of bit-part players and has a tight squad who area already being as ruthless on the pitch as their manager is off it. Box office rebuild from United.
What did you think of Man United’s transfer dealing? Happy? Unhappy?
