Wesley Sneijder Heading To PSG

Reports in France and Italy say that Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement to sign Wesley Sneijder from Inter Milan in January.

Sneijder has been banished to the stands by Inter as he refuses to sign a new contract which lowers his €6m per season wages. PSG would have no problem meeting Sneijder’s current wages and reports suggest that the French side will also extend Sneijder’s contract through June 2016.

To help make the deal go through, it is also reported that PSG will send Javier Pastore on loan to Inter for the rest of the season. PSG bought Pastore from Italian side Palermo in 2011 for a reported €39.8 million, but the Argentinian has failed to impress in France.

With the Sneijder money, Inter are expected to then go after San Paulo’s Paulinho in January, in a deal that has been long rumoured.
