Serie A 2014-15 Fixtures Released

juve-supercupThe 2014-15 Serie A fixture list has been released and the season gets underway the weekend of August 30-31 and the season will come to an end on May 31 2015. There are four midweek rounds planned on September 24, October 29, January 6 and April 29.

Limitations have been put in place for derby games, barring them in the first, last or any midweek rounds.

Juventus begin defence of their title away to Chievo, while Roma v Fiorentina and Milan v Lazio are intriguing opening ties.

It’s a tough opening schedule for new Juve manager Max Allegri as he faces his old club Milan in Milan in week 3 and then has a probable Scudetto showdown with Roma in week 6.

Inter v Napoli is the big game of Week 7, Milan v Fiorentina in Week 8, Napoli v Roma in Week 10 and Fiorentina v Napoli in Week 11.

The Derby di Milano is in Week 12, so towards the end of November, on the same weekend as Lazio-Juventus. The Turin Derby is the same weekend as Roma-Inter in Week 13, while Fiorentina-Juventus is in Week 14 and Milan-Napoli in Week 15.

The Verona Derby is in Week 16, Juventus-Inter the Derby d’Italia in Week 17. Roma-Lazio arrives in Week 18, which also means it will be the penultimate round of the campaign.

The final round of the season includes Napoli-Lazio, Verona-Juventus and Roma-Palermo.
