Manchester United Arrive In Boston

Manchester United arrived in Boston today to kick of their almost three way U.S. tour and United boss Sir Alex Ferguson had some interesting things to day at the press conference today.

Sir Alex was asked a question about Paul Scholes and he started to answer about how much United will miss Scholes and how he rates him alongside Xavi and Iniesta as the best midfield players in the world. He then made an interesting comment

“How do you replace somebody like Paul Scholes ?… It’s very difficult. Maybe somebody will emerge out of the youth team”

That might be a big ask for someone like Pogba, who is at least a year away from breaking into the United squad.

Sir Alex was then asked about Samir Nasir and Wesley Sneijder, two players that United have been linked with. This was his answer:

“I don’t think he’s coming to United. That’s all I can tell you. I think he’s agreed to go somewhere else. Maybe he has to stay at Arsenal, also. That’s a possibility.”
