The pro Michael Owen crowd will say that Man United got him for a song on basically a pay and play deal. That he is a proven goalscorer and that playing in a team like Man United that he will regain his goalscoring touch.
Maybe he will prove us all wrong and return to his former level. But I seriously doubt that Owen will have a measureable impact on United’s upcoming season.
It is a summer where the center of European soccer has switched from the Premier League to La Liga. Benzema, Ribery, Villa, Kaka and Ronaldo have all spurned offers from Premier League teams to play in Spain, or to stay in Spain.
United’s European rivals have gotten stronger while United have taken a big step backwards. The only consolation for United fans is that none of their domestic rivals have done a lot to upgrade themselves so far this summer.
Bring tevez in, we dont need forlan. We have plenty accountable attacking force already. Forget sanchez, In fact, get the deal done for casemiro, the future star, before his price gets too high. Lavezzi if we could trade with pandev for a good deal, that’ll be a surpluss for inter. Keep sneidjer and give coutinho more playing time.
I think all odd goes to Tevez. Big chance to get him on a loan…. He can bring his family in Milan and keep it going as a champion. No doubt for his quality, presence and his charisma on the pitch.
Tevez is younger and a better player. If we can bring both in it would be great, especially having Forlan and Sneijder to be able to take Free Kicks.
Tevez is a great addition and replacement of etoo tevez top striker in EPL we know tevez will score in big mutches so is forlan i say bring tevez on loan and forlan would be cheap to bring in too bring both if not prefer tevez.
I really think Tevez is better option for us he is also younger then Forlan
