Tom Hicks and George Gillett we dealt another setback in their efforts to block the sale of Liverpool after a High Court judge ruled their Texas injunction to block the sale of the club was ineffective.
Yesterday, Hicks and Gillett had managed to get an injunction from a judge in Texas to block the proposed sale of the club to NESV.
But Judge Christopher Floyd said that ruling had no validity in England, which should open up the door for NESV to take over the club before this weekend’s Merseyside derby with Everton.
