The Brazilian striker has swapped Barcelona for Paris in a world record smashing deal, and has signed a £500,000-a-week, five year contract.

He said he had not been sure over his future for a long time, but had been convinced by the other Brazilian players at PSG and was looking forward to the challenge. He also said he had not moved in order to be the biggest star at the club.

At a press conference held on Friday, Neymar said:

Dani Alves Snubs Pep And Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is finding it much harder to recruit top players than he probably expected after former player Dani Alves snubbed Pep and City in favor of a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

City thought they had a two-year deal wrapped up for the 34-year-old Alves, but were stunned to see the free agent go to PSG who have offered him £230,000-a-week.

What will hurt Man City fans the most is that Alves says he is heading to Paris not because of the money, but because he has a better chance of winning trophies than at the Etihad.

PSG To Sign Dortmund Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

According to Yahoo Sport France, striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will leave Borussia Dortmund and join Paris Saint-Germain in a £61 million deal this summer.

The Bundesliga’s top goalscorer last season has reportedly agreed a contract that will pay him a whopping £5.25m signing-on fee plus a wage package of £168,000 a week.

PSG have been linked with a move for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez for months, but the fact that they landed Aubameyang, will intensify reports that Sanchez is heading to Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

PSG this season struggled to fill the void left by the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimović to Manchester United.

Manchester United Become The First Club Worth 3 Billion Euros

Manchester United have moved clear of Real Madrid as the most valuable football club in Europe, a report by auditors KPMG has found.

United have been valued at €3.004 billion, ahead of both Real (€2.895bn) and Barcelona (€2.688bn). KPMG had estimated Madrid and United as being worth €2.9bn at the end of the 2015-16 season.

Bayern Munich (€2.367bn) are fourth on the list, with Manchester City (€1.909bn) the next highest-placed English team in fifth. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur complete the top 10.

The huge TV deal that the Premier League has, means that six of the top ten richest sides in Europe are now English.

Surprises In Top 100 Players List

Messi-PricelessNo surprise to see that CIES Football Observatory has Lionel Messi, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo as its three most valuable players in the world. What is surprising is that they have Antoine Griezmann, Harry Kane and Anthony Martial all valued ahead of Luis Suarez.

The values of the players are based on several different variables including age, length of current contract and potential suitors. Which is why Juventus and France midfielder Paul Pogba is valued at only £70m, because his current contract is due to expire in 2019.
