Trezeguet not joining Milan

David Trezeguet is not allowed to join Milan, according to Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco.

Milan have been linked with the French striker, 31, following Wolfsburg’s decision not to sell number-one target Edin Dzeko. But Secco told Gazzetta dello Sport that Trezeguet would not be sold to a rival club.

“Trezeguet is happy to stay, he’s working hard. We’ve never thought about parting ways but if there’s an offer we’ll talk about it,” Secco said. “At the end of last season he brought up the possibility of finding a new club but we’d never give him to another Italian club. He’s a good player and we want to keep him but if his agent comes to us with an offer from abroad, we’ll look at it.”

‘Trezegol’ joined Juventus from Monaco in 2000 and is the club’s record foreign goal scorer. Injuries limited him to eight Serie A appearances last season and he has been linked with Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Lyon and Marseille.
