I am in Washington D.C. for the Barcelona v Manchester United match on Saturday. Tonight both teams had a practices that were open to the middle and fans.
This was the second time that I have seen United practice and they look a little faster and sharper than they did two weeks ago in Boston. David De Gea and Phil Jones were here and it was good to see them. De Gea is tall and lanky. He will certainly need to put on weight to play in the Premier League.
Rooney was really into the practice, one time giving one of the twins a hard time because he played a bad cross to him during a crossing drill.
