Henry scores goal in first game

Thierry Henry, the former striker for Arsenal, scored in his debut for Barcelona leading them to a win 1 – 0 win over Dundee United. Thierry Henry came in as a substitute for the international star, Samuel Eto’o, at halftime. Henry was awarded a penalty kick in the final minutes of the game. He took the penalty kick and missed, but was able to get his own rebound and put it in the net for the win.

A minute from the end at Tannadice Stadium, the Spanish side was awarded a penalty kick when Terrors defender Darren Dods pulled down Giovanni dos Santos. Henry’s penalty kick was stopped by goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski, but Henry put in the rebound.
