Europa League Matchday Two Review

The Europa League kicked off this week as Real Betis and Napoli mounted memorable comebacks from two goals down while there were winning starts for Galatasaray, West Ham and Lyon.

The big match was in England where Leicester City hosted Napoli. Ayoze PĂ©rez finished a superb team move to put Leicester ahead and Harvey Barnes added a second. However, Victor Osimhen scored a brilliant first before thumping in a header from Matteo Politano’s cross to earn his side a point, Leicester losing Wilfred Ndidi to a second yellow card in stoppage time.

Valencia Ease Passed PSV Challenge In Europa League

Valencia advanced to the next stage of Europa League and simply glad not to pay for their mistakes in throwing away a four goal advantage into only having two for the second leg against PSV Eindhoven.

Adil Rami’s goal was obviously the show for El Che on the night as not only he was the one scoring the La Liga side’s only goal in a1-1 draw, but the French international also got himself send off, leaving some scarce in the last few minutes for his team.
