Mourinho signs new Inter deal

According to Inter Fan Club Jose Mourinho has signed a one-year contract extension, committing the Portuguese to the Italian champions until June 30, 2012.

Mourinho moved to the San Siro after a successful three-season spell at Chelsea FC last summer and guided the Nerazzurri to a fourth successive Serie A crown. The 46-year-old previously won championships in England and in his homeland with FC Porto, whom he also guided to UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions League success. Inter will enter the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League in the group stage, having been eliminated this season by Manchester United FC in the first knockout round.

The new contract is expected to earn the Special One a cool €10 million per season.
