Striker Mauro Icardi has left Inter Milan’s pre-season camp by mutual consent and will play no part in the pre-season tour of Asia, ahead of a likely messy departure from the San Siro.

Former club captain Icardi has fallen out with chiefs at the club and is understood to have been told by new manager Antonio Conte that he does not feature in plans and is up for sale.

The player’s wife-and-agent Wanda Nara has been hawking her husband around top European clubs and has held talks with Juventus this summer.

The story was broken by Italian journalist Federico Gennarelli of Radio Sportiva over the weekend. That Pep Guardiola has agreed a deal to leave Manchester City and take up the vacant managerial role at Juventus.

While Manchester City have continued to deny that there is any truth to the story, former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri seemed to indicate that it was true when local newspaper Sport Legnano reported that Allegri was asked by a Juventus fan who his successor would be. He replied: “A manager of Manchester is coming.”

Well we know its not Ole Gunnar Solskjær that is heading to Turin!

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is set to sit down with Juventus chiefs to discuss major signings this summer as Allegri wants to overhaul the team in order to win the Champions League.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has targeted further progress after guiding the club to an eighth straight Serie A title.

Alex Sandro strike and a German Pezzella own-goal cancelled out Nikola Milenkovic’s early goal wrapped up the Scudetto with five games to play.

However, despite becoming Serie A’s second-most successful coach behind Giovanni Trapattoni, Allegri is determined to see the club improve.

He said: ‘Next season the main objective is again the Scudetto. We’ll be up against the Milan clubs, who are improving, while Napoli are also growing. Roma and Lazio could strengthen over the summer.

Juventus put the disappointment of a Champions League exit behind them as Massimiliano Allegri’s side beat Fiorentina 2-1 to secure an eighth consecutive Serie A title.

Playing in front of an expectant home crowd, Allegri’s players needed just a point to secure the title but went one better after Alex Sandro’s strike was doubled thanks to an own goal by German Pezzella in the second half.

Having lost to minnows SPAL last time out, missing the chance to secure their latest league title, nerves kicked in early in Turin when Nikola Milenkovic scored the opening goal after six minutes.

Fresh from scoring the hat-trick that sent Juventus into the quarter-finals of the Champions League, Cristiano Ronaldo declared: ‘This is why Juve bought me’.

On a frenzied night in Turin Ronaldo scored three times to overturn a 2-0 deficit against Atletico Madrid and keep the Italian champions’ dream alive.

Ronaldo scored two headers either side of half-time before keeping his cool and smashing home from the penalty spot four minutes from time to spark delirious celebrations.

He is now on course for a fourth European title in a row, with former club Real Madrid humiliated by Ajax in the Bernabeu last week.

Allegri has guided the Bianconeri to four consecutive Serie A titles and his current deal runs through to 2020.

Juventus Looking To Sign Former Inter Captain

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has revealed the Serie A leaders are interested in Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.

The Argentine was replaced by goalkeeper Samir Handanovic as captain last week amid contract talks and refused to travel for their Europa League victory at Rapid Vienna a day later.

The club subsequently announced Icardi would miss the visit of Sampdoria on Sunday through injury and the 25-year-old watched his team-mates secure a 2-1 win from the stands.

Icardi’s current deal at the San Siro runs out in the summer of 2021 and Serie A rivals Juventus have made an initial enquiry.

Juventus Make Staggering Offer For Liverpool’s Mo Salah

Juventus have tabled a staggering offer for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah worth €50million (£44m) and Paulo Dybala.

According to Italian publication Tuttosport, who have the story on their front page on Thursday, the Italian champions are serious in their pursuit of the Egypt star.

Salah signed a new five-year contract at Liverpool last July and the terms do not include a release clause.

The 26-year-old has turned into one of the best players in the world since joining Liverpool from Roma in 2017.

He scored 44 goals in his debut season as Liverpool reached the Champions League final before losing to Real Madrid.
