30 days of soccer magic

I saw an ad the other day that the Premier League kicks off in about a month (August 15th).

Usually the pre-season is pretty boring, but for soccer fans in the U.S. the next 30 days is pure soccer magic.

To kick things off we have the World Football Challenge involving AC Milan, Inter Milan, Chelsea and Club America. These games kick off on July 19th with Club America playing Inter Milan at Stamford. Two of the highlights of the challenge are Chelsea v former boss Jose Mourinho on July 21st and then the Milan derby between Inter and AC Milan on July 26th in Boston. I will be at that one. See schedule below for TV times.

If that was not enough, we have the European Champions FC Barcelona playing three games in the U.S. Barcelona’s schedule includes games against the LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders. All three Barcelona games will be on FSC I believe.

Anthe Spanish team touring this summer is Real Madrid. Ronaldo and Kaka will be on display in Toronto on August 7th (I will be there) and in Washington on August 9th. Both games should be shown on FSC.

Throw in the Gold Cup, the MLS all-star game against Everton on July 29th and the matter of a World Cup Qualifying game in Mexico city on August 12th and it is truly an incredible month of action for soccer fans

    views on inters best 11?
    i personally think a 4-2-3-1. with cesar
    maicon lucio ranocchia chivu
    zanetti cambiasso
    forlan sneijder alvarez
    milito/pazzini

Good question because whether its 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 I cannot see how Inter gets all its playmakers on the pitch. With a back four and one holding midfield player Inter has room for five true attacking players from Sneijder, Alverez, Motta, Forlan, Milito, Pazzini and Zarate. And that doesn’t take into consideration Coutinho who is a terrific talent.

now that we have signed yet another qaulity player and also zarate what do you think the starting team will be?

Guys!…Inter have been following Forlan for quite some time… We have been linked with the sniper for couple of summers before. So Moratti and Branca and (WE), know what we got. And we got him for free. Well we didnt get the players we hope for, but we got a striker with two superb foot, great header! He is 32 … Milito is 32 as well, but they can link together very well … Its a short term for both of them… We can sale both of them next summer. We have to give this summer to Moratti and Branca, and the whole passive transfer window for every club F### it … Its complicated.. The whole Fair Play rule and not having own stadium..
We still have shot for Serie A. The singing or the summer is Snaijder … AGAIN!!!
The key is the defence. If the 3 man defence link good and Julio stop all his bloopers from lately, we realy can go. In the winter we will see for some adjustments! We have good youngster ready to explode ( I hope ) who are learning from champions. We will be OK :))))

YESss!!! This a mixture of young talents and highly experienced club. I can’t for them to perfect the 3-4-3 formation of Gasperini. Thank you Moratti you are truly a great CEO.
