Udinese and Juventus Setting Pace In Serie A

Noi campioni, voi...Udinese and Juventus continue to set the pace at the head of Serie A, closely followed by Napoli, with all three teams earning impressive wins at the weekend.

Udinese remain unbeaten after a 2-0 win against bottom-placed Bologna at the Stadio Friuli, with Mehdi Benatia and an Antonio Di Natale penalty securing the win.

Two late goals from Claudio Marchisio helped Juventus beat AC Milan in Turin, while third-placed Napoli sit a point behind after goals from Hugo Campagnaro, Christian Maggio and Marek Hamšík gave the Partenopei an excellent 3-0 win at Inter Milan, who suffered their third loss in five matches.

Palermo kept the pressure on in fourth, with goals from Giulio Migliaccio and Abel Hernández defeating Siena. Cagliari meanwhile kept pace with three points at Lecce. Elsewhere, both Rome clubs recorded victories to leave themselves together on eight points.

Hernanes and Miroslav Klose helped Lazio to a 2-1 away win at Fiorentina, while Bojan Krkić, Pablo Osvaldo and Fábio Simplício earned a 3-1 victory for AS Roma against Atalanta in the Stadio Olimpico.

A 0-0 home draw with AC Chievo Verona gave AC Cesena their first point of the season, Parma FC defeated Genoa CFC 3-1, and an added time goal from Alejandro Gómez gave Calcio Catania a 3-3 draw at Novara Calcio after Jeda thought he had won it five minutes from time.
