Ramos Fires Warning Shot At Antonio Conte

Despite a shattering 5-1 reverse against Barcelona in El Clasico, Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, faced the media in the aftermath and immediately brushed aside their questions concerning a new coach.

Antonio Conte is a strong favorite to succeed Julen Lopetegui after the latter saw his side slip to another defeat in what has been a disastrous season.

“We must respect the decisions that have been made from above,” he said to reporters.

“It’s a matter of being united, we have to turn the page.

“I’ve always had a good relationship with all the coaches, but it’s better to stay on the sidelines because they’re delicate situations.

“Respect is won, it’s not imposed.

“We’ve won titles, and team management is more important than the knowledge of a coach.”

Clearly the manner of the loss has affected Los Blancos.

“It’s a very f**ked up situation for the whole team, it was a key match and it was a poor result,” Ramos continued.

“It’s not the time to point the finger at anyone but there’s a lot to think about.

“I have won leagues from this position, we need to have our heads high and the key to success is work.”
