Diego Forlan’s agent believes the European Golden Boot winner will remain at Atletico Madrid.
The former Manchester United striker scored 32 goals for Atletico last season to earn them a spot in the Champions League but has been linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon.
Reports suggest Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City are interested in Forlan but Daniel Bolotnikoff insists he has had no offers for his client.
“There is no offer from Barcelona and I have not had any contact with them until now,” he told Com Radio. “Forlan has not had any offers from anyone, he has a contract and the player is very happy. There is nothing from Real Madrid either. It’s all rumours from the newspapers. I don’t know if someone has made an offer to the club. But on the part of the player we haven’t spoken to anyone.”
Bolotnikoff added:
“Unless the situation changes a lot and it is convenient for everyone his idea is not to change. Today Forlan’s future is Atletico. He is happy, he has had a magnificent year and that is the truth. Although in football what is true changes every three seconds and if this changes we will see what attitude we will take.”
