The Brazilian-born midfielder has been linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge after failing to impress for the Blues since his €10 million move from Barcelona last summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Atletico Madrid are one of the sides monitoring Deco’s situation and pondering a move for the 31-year-old.
However, Cerezo insists that the club have not begun preparations for the next season.
“We are not thinking about signings yet,” he told radio station TSF. “Deco is an interesting player but it’s still too soon to address such matters.”
Quizzed on whether Deco’s alleged availability would help his move to the Vicente Calderon, Cerezo responded, “I do not know. We are focused on the league.”
