After months of speculation, Dani Alves has finally agreed to a three-year contract extension with Barcelona. The new deal, which will keep the 27-year-old with the reigning Spanish champions until June 30 2015.
A statement on the Barcelona web site said:
“Barcelona announces that they have reached an agreement with Dani Alves to extend his contractual relationship with the club for three more seasons until June 30, 2015,” Barca said in a statement on their website.
Alves is arguably the best right back in football today and has become an integral part of Pep Guardiola’s side since joining Barca from Sevilla in a 29.5million euro deal in 2008.
