Premier League Transfer Numbers

Manchester City’s arrival in the transfer market late Monday raised a few eyebrows and reportedly upset one Portuguese manager in London.

Here is a look at how much each Premier League team spent in the the just concluded transfer window. This is money going out and does not take into account money received from the sale of players.

It is very surprising that only three top-flight clubs spent less than Chelsea this summer. Even Stoke boss Tony Pulis blew TWICE as much as Scolari. Is Chelski short of money?
