Moratti: Inter will keep Stramaccioni

Inter President Massimo Moratti has confirmed that Andrea Stramaccioni will remain as Coach for the 2012-13 season.

The 36-year-old Stramaccioni was supposed to be only stay in charge for the remainder of the season after replacing Ranieri, but he has brought a breath of fresh air to Inter and Moratti seems to have been convinced by that Stramaccioni is the right person to lead Inter forward:

“I will confirm Stramaccioni,” he told Sky Sport Italia outside of his offices in Milan this morning. “He proved his experience in a derby that really delighted me.”

Under Stramaccioni Inter have won five, drawn two and lost one and the team still has a shot at landing a spot in Europe next season

What do you think about Inter bringing Stramaccioni back for next season? I would have liked to have seen Moratti give him a two or three year contract, to show that he has confidence in his young coach. A one-year deal doesn’t inspire me.
