Juventus Must Win Every Remaining Game

David, March 25, 2009September 25, 2013

Juventus wing-back Paolo De Ceglie has nearly fully recovered from the lung injury he suffered against Napoli in the Coppa Italia nearly two months ago and is looking forward to contributing under coach Claudio Ranieri once again.

“The long period of rest is finally finished,” the relieved defender explained to Il Tempo. “Now there are almost two weeks to train again and find my best condition and then I should be available for the match against Chievo.”

The Bianconeri have won five consecutive matches in Serie A and De Ceglie believes his side must maintain the pace to have any hope of displacing Inter at the top of the standings.

“We must win all our games to fight for the Scudetto. Now we are preparing for a challenge against Chievo, who are in good form, and like all teams fighting for salvation will fight to the end. However, we absolutely want three points.”

Juventus recently came off an impressive 4-1 victory over Roma, while the Flying Donkeys also won their last match by a 1-0 scoreline over Palermo.
