DC United And Colorado Rapids Gets Big Wins

Big wins for D.C. United and the Colorado Rapids last night as they both ended losing streaks.

Charlie Davies scored his sixth goal of the season and set up another for Josh Wolff as D.C. United beat the Seattle Sounders 2-1

The win ended United’s two-game losing streak.

In Wednesday’s other match, Scott Palguta scored his MLS goal to help the Colorado Rapids end a four-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory at the Houston Dynamo.

The Dynamo opened the scoring in the 71st minute when Colin Clark sent a left-footed shot inside the near post from 16 yards. Colorado equalized 3 minutes later when Jamie Smith lofted a free kick over Houston keeper Tally Hall.

Palguta took a pass from Caleb Folan and fired the winner into the right side of the goal in the 84th minute.
