Zebra Duo Still Leads Table As The Milanese Disappoints Again

JuveTwo Zebra continues their reign in the Italian Serie A table this weekend, which can also be marked as a miserable week for the Milanese teams, who were both humiliated by another potential title rivals.

Inter Milan controversially beaten by Napoli at San Siro, while Ac Milan gave Juventus a confidence boost after being outplayed in Turin.

Tragic Weekend for Milanese Duo

Inter got the disappointment earlier than their city rival, as the Nerazzurri got battered 3-0 by Napoli at San Siro, in a pretty controversial episode which saw the home team played with 10 men after Joel Obi received a marching order in the first half, which also led to a penalty kick for the visitor. Although the initial spot kick was missed by Marek Hamsik, but the rebound was pounced in by Hugo Campagnaro to give the Partenopei the lead in the first half.

Things got worse in the second period for Inter as Christian Maggio and Hamsik both scored for the visitor and gave their coach, Walter Mazzarri a fine Birthday gift, running away with a 3-0 victory against Inter at San Siro. Meanwhile, in Turin, an almost similar situation happened as Milan also lost a player due to sending off, and got beaten by Juventus with two goals from Claudio Marchisio.

Just like Napoli, the victory will obviously pumped the confidence from Antonio Conte’s side, believing that they can be one of the title contenders this season especially with a dominating performance against the defending champion. Milan were very disappointing though, despite there were still several absentees on the pitch, but still the performance put on and also some strange decision made by their coach, Massimiliano Allegri, pretty much cost them their second defeat and all were against fellow potential Scudetto rivals.

Udinese Trails Juve, Lazio Bounced After European Disappointment

One of the surprise leader so far, Udinese continues their fine form by picking up a 2-0 victory against Bologna as Mehdi Benatia and Antonio Di Natale, were the scorer for Francesco Guidolin team, who holds the same record and points with Juventus at the top of Serie A. The Bianconeri, still haven’t suffered any defeat this season, bagging three victories and two draws from five Serie A matches that have already been played until today.

In Florence, Lazio stunned the home team after Hernanes and Miroslav Klose fight back Alessio Cerci’s earlier goal and gave the Biancocelesti a precious 2-1 victory against the home team, Fiorentina. A three point which definitely paid the disappointment that Edy Reja’s team felt after getting beaten in their Europa League campagin last midweek. The victory could also served as a motivational boost ahead of the Rome derby which is set to be played right after the upcoming International break.

The competition still very early indeed but two title contenders, Ac Milan and Inter Milan are still struggling on the league table, leaving their fans obviously worried especially for the Rossoneri, who never seemed to stop their injury problems which already arrived form the start of the season. The Nerazzurri, are obviously still need some more adaptation time after having another new coach so early in the season, but there are still many times for both Milanese teams to get back on track especially if their coaches improved everything. A note for Ac Milan’s tactician, Massimliano Allegri, is he probably should try to be more braver in giving chances for other players to show their quality as the older guard in the midfield obviously can’t be forced to keep on performing.
