Waiting For Pato’s Consistency

AC Milan - Impact de MontréalAlexandre Pato’s hard work during the midweek looked like paying off after witnessing the young striker’s performance against Napoli on Monday, where he score a wonder goal and made an assist for Kevin Prince Boateng.

The player who reportedly cut off his holiday in order to train himself last weekend, not only getting a reward by starting in the important match against the Partenopei, Pato also showed an improvement and maturity on his performance on Monday night.

On the pitch, the striker showed more grit, determination, hard work and also much more calmness in linking up with his teammates on the game, something that previously has always been his main issue. Despite only showed his authority mostly in the second period, surely the striker’s improvement will give lots of hope for every Milan fans who wants to see the Rossoneri keeps on improving their game in every competition.

After recovering from injury, Pato has been having many problems in getting the starting line up especially since Antonio Cassano started to click better with other Milan players, especially the strikers. Fortunately for Pato, Cassano’s condition isn’t 100% fit as just yet, making the Italian international haven’t managed to play consistently well as he still working on getting his fitness level back to his best.

This condition gave the Brazilian youngster every chance to regain his starting spot for Milan, which he successfully did against Napoli, now the next question would this new look of Pato can be kept consistently? This would be an interesting question that the answer could be seen in the next few days as the Rossoneri already have plenty important matches ahead, including the second leg of the Champions League against Tottenham Hotspurs, if the Brazilian can continue his fine form especially in linking up well with his teammates, than it can be sured that his fine display against Napoli is really the start of a resurrection and not just one wonder day at the office from him.
