Van Persie Refuses To Rule Out Move Away From Arsenal

Things are not looking good for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal as more speculation grows over the future of  the clubs top stars. The latest news so far is that Van Persie could leave the Emirates at the of next season.

After already ruling out their hopes of winning the EPL title and huge losses that have stunned both players and fans alike, Arsenal are in their biggest crisis yet. The mood among the fans can only attest at the displeasure of Wenger’s tactics.

Matters are only made worse by Van Persie hinting that he could move to a rival Premier League club. Its anyone’s guess as to which club Van Perise is considering, however, there is no denying that the news is bound to rub Arsenal fans the wrong way.

Speaking to The Times a concerned Van Persie refused to rule out a move to Man City:

“I do not know what I will do – I cannot predict the future,

“Everybody makes his own history and only afterwards can you see how that went.”

On the current state of events that see the team lying 2 points above the relegation zone, this is what he had to say:

“I do not know,” he said, “for one thing, as an indication, when I came to Arsenal we immediately beat City. But in recent years much has happened in England.

“Nevertheless, I think the Premiership is still the best league in the world, it gives me everything I want.”

We cannot forget the raging debate on Wenger’s player buying policy, however, being the gentleman that he is Van Persie refused to be drawn into the Wenger debate on why the French has not adequately reinforced the team following the departures of Samir Nasri, Cesc Fabregas and Gael Clichy.

“I’m not a technical director and coach, I have no input in to it,” the forward insisted.

So Arsenal could lose another of its top players sooner than we all expectfor reasons no one understands, however considering the  currents goings on, it would not shock many fans.
