According to reports in England and Spain, Valencia star David Silva has agreed terms with Manchester City on a four-year deal setting up his transfer to the Premier League club for a reported €35 million.
Chelsea were reported to have made a last minute pitch for the Spanish star, but Man City boss Roberto Mancini was able to close the deal and convince Silva that Manchester was the best destination.
This is a huge signing for Man City, especially are they are only in the Europa League next season and not the Champions League. The signing shows that Europe’s best talent is taking another look at City.
Barcelona’s Yaya Toure is also reportedly set to join City after the World Cup and he will join Jerome Boateng has signed earlier this summer.
