Totti Wants Fans Support For Next Two Home Games

Francesco TottiIn form As Roma talisman, Francesco Totti, is in a good form recently after successfully slotting six goals on his last four league matches, that contribution helps Roma’s hope to end the season in the Champions League zone.

Aside from preparing well for the remaining few matches, Totti also expected the fans’ help especially for Roma’s next two upcoming home games, where the skipper expects nothing more than a full support from the Romanisti.

After the victory over one of their direct rivals for the fourth spot, Udinese, last weekend, Roma’s confidence are flying high at the moment and their believe in beating their competitors in the end of the season is very big. That’s why Totti expect the fans to help lift the team’s spirit even more, especially in the upcoming two games against Palermo and Chievo at home which is being considered by the captain as victories on that two games can lift their place above their rivals, Lazio and Udinese.

“The next two games are fundamental in our bid for fourth place especially in light of the head-to-head matches between our competitors. Our fans are holding their breath but in the end we hope to give them a beautiful present. For this reason in the next two games at the Olimpico we need their support. As ever we hope to have them by our side,” Totti wrote in Corriere dello Sport.

Totti himself is having a great moment after the change of coach in Roma, spending more time in the bench during Claudio Ranieri’s reign, Vincenzo Montella’s arrival seemingly revives the captain’s season as he has been influential again. Despite of his age, the talismanic skipper has been able to show that he can still provide something for his beloved club and with his recent performances, there’s a big chance that the trequartista would give a special present for the tifosi at the end of this season, which as a Champions League qualification ticket.

Although flourishing under the guidance of his ex-teammate, Montella, Totti seemingly would like to be coached by former Ac Milan coach, Carlo Ancelotti, who has been heavily linked with a move to the capital side. This statement pretty much hinted that Totti is still planing to play for at least one more season with the Giallorossi before deciding to take the management role that has already been offered to him.
