AS Roma has officially bounced back from a dismal start to the 2009/2010 season.  The usual top four squad played awful at the beginning of the season and following a coach sacking they have turned it around and are now playing some of the best football of any squad in any major league.  Roma, who once stared the relegation zone down at the end of the first month of the year, now look unmovable from the top four spots and just may be Inter’s biggest worry following this weekend battle against AC Milan.

And one key to Roma’s season will be recently transferred star Italian forward Luca Toni.  Toni has already impacted Roma with a pair of goals last week and now that the powerhouse squad can play both Totti and Toni up front, they will be giving Serie A defenses headaches for the rest of the year.  And Toni knew this prior to the opening of the transfer window.  He wanted to play for a great squad that would turn some heads in Italy, thus, giving the giant a spot on the national roster for this summer.

And anytime you have two talented guys like that, playing side by side, other clubs in the league will take notice.  And Roma will have excellent results with the formidable duo.  They were already one of the best squads in the league prior to the transfer and now that the move has been completed, the results are beginning to surface.  Toni is a great player.  Roma is a great club.  Put the two of them together and you have a winner.  What a concept!
