Today both Milan sides AC and Inter will be in action against two teams from the Italian capital. AC Milan are away to Lazio in the Olympic stadium while Inter entertain AS Roma at the San Siro. The ironical thing is that all these four teams are arch rivals in their respective cities.
AC Milan are enjoying a good run of positive results in the Serie A and in Europe while Inter’s form in the Serie A is simply amazing. Juventus who beat Napoli 5-2 on Saturday have closed in on Inter with the gap reducing to just four points and they will be hoping that AS Roma can spring a surprise on the champions to keep the title chase alive.
Inter are no stranger to delivering in the big matches and although they know that Roma are a very good side, they should not let their confidence get to their head. Their current near perfect record in the Serie A however should at least give Roma the chills.
Milan on the other hand will face a Lazio side that is currently in 15th position just one under their arch rivals Roma. Lazio are struggling to find their form after axing key players Goran Pandev and Christian Ledesma from their squad after they demanded to move in the close season however, their plans did not materialise.
Milan need to win this game convincingly and with the sensational Ronaldinho getting back to form, I believe we are in for a spectacular football Sunday.
