SATO Serie A Matches of the Week

Inter-Udinese

Inter was right where they wanted to be a week ago with a brief first place seeding after a Sampdoria loss, but after the club is defeated this last weekend by the same club they have dropped back to third place.  Now with home field advantage against one of the strongest offensive attacks in Italy expect this one to be a great shootout.  Diego Milito has had an outstanding year and is currently tied for second in total goals, but nobody can catch Antonio Di Natale who currently leads the league with eight goals.  If Udinese wants to win this one they will need the whole team playing well and not just Di Natale.

AS Roma-Napoli

Things could be a lot worse for AS Roma then they currently are.  After being embarrassed two times in a row to start the year the club hasn’t lost in four matches and currently sit at ninth place on the league board.  Napoli is one point back from the powerhouse and Marek Hamsik looks to be having a breakout year.  Hamsik also has five goals and is tied for second place in the league.  With a few more goals this week Napoli could see themselves in position to be a top eight club.

Fiorentina-Lazio

Fiorentina would need a lot to go their way in order to take the Serie A lead in the league table, but only being a few points back anything is possible.  Lazio, on the other hand, had a strong start to the year, but have been fading recently.  Can Julio Cruz turn it all around for the club?
