Sampdoria-Inter
Sampdoria has been a nice surprise this year climbing up the table from a mediocre year last season. The club is still perfect and every week they continue to impress with their incredible goal scoring ability. With only a few perfect squads left Sampdoria is in a tough position this week against Inter. Inter, who tied their first match of the year, have won every other match to date and are the obvious team to beat in Serie A football this season. Sampdoria will enjoy the home field advantage, but they have a tough challenge facing them this week.
Udinese-Genoa
Genoa has also been a surprise squad this season winning every match they were in before last weekend against Chievo Verona. Will the strong starting club continue to play well or will they drop another one to the likes of Udinese? Udinese has had one of the more impressive offenses this season and Antonio Di Natale leads the league in goals scored, but the squad has few wins and many defensive letdowns. For Udinese to win this one they need Di Natale to continue his excellent goal scoring pace.
AC Milan-Bari
Here’s a match I never thought would be one of the biggest of the week, but this one pits a legendary squad against a roster filled with new boys. Say whatever you want to say about them, but Bari has impressed early in the season and going into the week they were one of only four teams that have not suffered a loss. AC Milan, on the other hand, needs to win these type of matches if they want to contend for the league title or at least seal up a Champions League spot for next season.
