Rooney has falling out with Sir Alex and Madrid a possible solution

Wayne Rooney has had a falling out with Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and reports have suggested that the English star might make a possible exit, in the upcoming transfer window in January, to Real Madrid.

It was stated that Rooney broke off any contract talks with Manchester United after claims made by Sir Alex indicating that Rooney picked up an ankle injury. With just 18 months left on his current contract, rumors started to rise that the Red Devils will look to sell Rooney in January for they won’t risk losing him for nothing.

However, a Manchester United spokesman has gone on to deny the talks of the departure of Wayne Rooney as he went on to say the following:

“To suggest Wayne Rooney will be sold in January is nonsense,”

It’s no secret that Real Madrid would welcome Rooney to the club but after picking up a boat load of attacking players in Benzema, Ronaldo, and Higuain, the club might not have any space for the English striker.

“I really like Llorente and Rooney, too, but the question is, if Rooney comes, who do we take out of the team? We have a brilliant strikeforce in Ronaldo and Higuain and now we have added Ozil and Di Maria to complement them.”

In my opinion, the only real solution in getting Rooney to the Bernabeu would be trading off Benzema. Although it was said, earlier in the month, that Real Madrid were looking to keep the French forward, if you have a chance in signing Wayne Rooney, you shouldn’t miss out on that option. With the pairing of Rooney and Ronaldo again, Madrid would be a lot more dangerous and will definitely look like the team to regain the “La Liga” title.
