Now, there is a reason why football is called the beautiful game. The English might have invented it but the Brazilians definitely perfected it. This is evident in the case of Robson De Souza better known as Robinho.
After making the worst career mistake in his life by joining Manchester City (this according to me), Robinho seems to be getting back to what we all know and love him for, his killer side steps that can leave any defender totally confused and disoriented. If your watched his first game for Santos since returning home on loan from Man City then you would know just how lethal he is.
Things even got better for Robinho yesterday as he scored his first brace for Santos. He now has 3 goals from 3 games and there is no telling what he will achieve in his 6 months stay with Santos. First it was Ronaldo then Adriano and now its Robinho. All these stars have been scoring goals for their respective clubs since leaving Europe. It makes me wonder why the Paulista is so enticing.
The last time Robinho played at Vila Belmiro-Santos home ground was in August of 2005. He scored his first goal on the half hour before geting his second in the dying minutes of the first half. Santos won the match 6-3 beating Bragantino to take them four points clear on the top of the Paulista championship.
