It seems like Real have money to splash out because frankly,i do not think De rossi is worth the 10 million Euro annual wage Madrid are ready to pay. I have never been a fan of De Rossi and to be honest, i think he is one of the most overrated players.
With 2 years left in his current contract, the Giallorosso are keen to hang on to a player they consider vital to their success. The capital based club responded to Madrid’s offer by tabling a 4.5 million Euro annual wage bu that has done little to entice De Rossi.
De Rossi wants Roma to add an additional 1.5 mill to ensurehe stays at the club. De Rossi should not push his luck and instead make take Madrid’s offer before it is withdrawn. The Italian is very lucky to be mentioned in the same sentence with Real.
10 million works out to about 140,000 Euros per week. This is a tidy sum hat not too many players earn (even the very talented one). Moreover, with a squad as compact as Madrid, just when and how will Mourinho use him?
If De Rossi is after the money then by all means he should move to Madrid but if he is keen on establishing his legacy, he should stay with a club that guarantees him regular play.
