Real Madrid sign Sami Khedira

Real Madrid are still continuing to add more power to their already star studded club as they went on to sign German midfielder Sami Khedira from Bundesliga club, Stuttgart.

Although Fredi Bobic, manager director of Stuttgart, was sad to see the 23-year old go, he could understand why he would want to make the switch to one of the best soccer clubs in the world.

“We wish him great success with his new challenge in Madrid.” Bobic went on to say.

Although some people may have thought that Mourinho would want to focus more on his defense because it seemed to be a weak point for Madrid in the past season, his 2nd major signing since his arrival from Inter Milan has gone to another midfielder. Angel diMaria was the first major singing he made during the transfer as he went on to acquire the Argentinian from Benfica earlier in the month. Now with the arrival of Sami Khedira, Madrid even have more depth in the midfielder as they are looking to replace two legends who have recently left the club, Raul & Guti.

Enjoying much success in the past year, Khedira become known very fast and was even link to move to EPL Champions, Chelsea, but came to La Liga instead.

A stand-out for Germany in the World Cup, as he replaced Michael Ballack, Khedira was definitely a helping hand in his country’s 3rd place finish in the tournament.

Think Khedira will be a food fit at Real Madrid? Who else do you see Jose Mourinho going after now? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
