Encouraging news arrived for Ac Milan fans ahead of their important Derby game on April 2, as their playmaker, Andre Pirlo, could possibly be available for Massimiliano Allegri’s selection as the player has already working hard to be match fit for the big clash.
Surely this time Milan will try to make sure that the midfield dynamo wont had another relapse like the one he had earlier when the number 21 gone of injured in the Italian Cup fixture against Bari, which was supposedly his comeback match after picking up an injury against Roma before Christmas.
According to the latest news from Milan, Pirlo is working hard to get his fitness ready right in time for the Derby game in about two weeks time, although the midfielder is still having a separate training session but with plenty of time left there’s a good chance the Italian international could probably make it. At the moment the training routines that the 31-years-old deep lying playmaker does is all about regaining his fitness back and as long as there’s no more relapses during this current fitness recovery, at the very least the player can make the bench in the upcoming Derby.
Should Pirlo managed to somehow start in the Derby, it would give a big boost for Milan’s game after losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic through suspension, as the Italian international is someone that can provide the creativity the team needed in the midfield. Before picking up an injury against Roma, Pirlo has been performing really well in the new role that Allegri gave him which is as left midfielder instead of playing deep in front of the defender. In the new area, the 31-years-old, is able to focus more on creating chances and controlling the team’s tempo without worrying much in keeping the defense tight.
However, the worrying case for Pirlo’s return would be his match fitness as whether he is physically and mentally ready to play in a supposedly tight game that dubbed as an important game in deciding the Serie A winner this season. Considering Pirlo’s latest short return ends up in another injury problem, the Rossoneri fans will surely hopes that this time the 2006 World Champion, can stay injury free and be able to not only contribute in the Derby but also on Milan’s remaining fixtures.
