Pato’s Winner Leaves Galliani Red In The Face

Call it luck or destiny, one thing is for sure Alexandre Pato’s 100th minute winner for AC Milan against Novara in the Coppa Italia yesterday definitely left Milan VP Adriano Galliani red in the face.

After trying to sell Pato against his wishes to French club PSG in order to sign Man City want away striker Carlos Tevez failed, the 67 year old has taken a rather low key approach to the club’s functions in the past couple of days.

I do not blame him though, after making a comment like the one below, i would also take some time out of the spotlight.

“Pato has decided to stay, so Tevez will not come,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

“Those two deals were connected, if one player does not leave, then the other will not come.

So i will say for Pato what i know he would not dare say: In your Face Galliani!

Moving on to more Milan news, Swede striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he wishes to finish career with Milan. According to his agent Mano Raiola, reports doing theorunds linking his client with a move away from Milan are just that, Rumours.

Speaking to sky Sport 1 after Milan’s loss to Inter in the city derby, Raiola said that though Ibra was not happy with the loss, he would not be leaving.

“The only upset tummy is that he has lost the derby,” Raiola said.

“He does not want to lose anything, let alone the derby.

“He wants to end his career with AC Milan because he is well and has a good relationship with the club.”

It still remains to be seen the impact Pato will have to Milan’s title hope for the rest of the season, however, one thing is for sure his definitely more hungry for success especially after if you consider all that has happened in the past couple of days.
