AC Milan striker, Alexandre Pato, has been on the eyes of some of the best clubs in the world as Premier League giants, Chelsea and Manchester City, are two clubs who were rumored to have been keeping tabs on.
Although many players would jump at a chance playing for the EPL Champions Chelsea or new Billionaire club Manchester City, Pato went on to deny that he would make the switch to either of those clubs.
It was rumored that Pato’s former coach, Roberto Mancini, is ready to offload some major cash to lure the Brazilian to Manchester City but Pato went admits that although he is honored with their interest, he would only make a switch to La Liga club, Barcelona.
“I am honoured by City’s interest, but I am a Milan player and I’m happy here. If one day I do leave Milan, I’d like to wear the Barcelona jersey. I think I’d only leave Milan for Barcelona.”
Now, they’re has also been some claims that Barcelona had in fact secured an option on Pato as part of the deal that saw Ibrahimovic make the switch to the Serie A giants.
