Good news for reeling Italian giants AC Milan. The squad should have their star forward Alexandre Pato returning back into the lineup as soon as this upcoming weekend. The forward, who scored two goals in his debut match of the season, suffered a thigh injury earlier this month and has missed the last three weeks of action. And over the last four games AC Milan has only won a single match and currently rest in fourth place in the league table.
But with Pato supposedly rejoining the lineup AC Milan’s low scoring woes should be improved dramatically. Vice-president Adriano Galliani made the following statement about Pato’s progress off of the pitch:
Alexandre is very well and could even play on Saturday against Parma. At least that is what the team doctors have told me.
And the news is great for AC Milan considering their promising forward has scored 2 goals in 2 appearances this season. No one else on Ac Milan’s team has surpassed that total although Ibrahimovic and Inzaghi both have two as well. But the return of Pato should also help Ibra considering the duo has had limited time to train together so far. The addition to Pato to the lineup not only means the team will have an extra goal scoring threat, but the presence of such a young star will open up great opportunities for everyone else on the pitch as well.
And that is exactly what AC Milan needs at the moment.
