The uncertainty of Juventus’ young talent, Sebastian Giovinco’s, future might finally reach an end after the latest report in Italy suggested that the former Italy u-21 player will be joining Parma soon.
The 24-years-old player who has voiced out his disappointment of failing to get decent playing time last season apparently is not included on Luigi Del Neri’s tactical set up for the upcoming season.
The new Juve coach is planning to play with a classic 4-4-2 formation that emphasize the attack from wide players which doesn’t really suit Giovinco’s characteristic.
Knowing that he won’t have lots of playing time in Turin, the playmaker has been opening himself up for other clubs’ offers, some teams that have been heavily linked with him are Bari and Parma.
Now, it seems that Parma are the strongest candidates to acquire Giovinco’s signature as the press claim that the Gialloblu’s representatives have reached a personal agreement with the player. The only thing that’s currently missing from the deal is the fee that the Tardini based club opted, there are two options for the contract which is a co-own deal or full outright signing.
Should the rumors turn out to be true, it should be a win win solution for both Giovinco and Parma as the player will have the chance to once again showcase his full talent at a club that can respect his qualities. Meanwhile, for the Gialloblu, having an exciting talent like Gio could lift the technical quality of the club and might just provide them a chance of getting into Europe in the upcoming season.
Not only that, should Giovinco managed to get regular playing time and show interesting progress it would also benefits Italian national team as the young player has always been touted as one of Azzuri’s best talent. By getting more minutes on the field the chance for Gio to fulfill his potential would be much bigger rather than sitting on Juve’s bench week in week out which won’t give any positive effect for an unpolished talent like him.
