Nesta Heading for Retirement at MLS ?

Interesting arrives for Ac Milan fans as media in Italy are suggesting that the Rossoneri might really be losing their veteran defender, Alessandro Nesta, next summer as he is being closely linked with a move to Major League Soccer in U.S.

Rumors has it that New York Bulls could be the player’s destination if he refused to resign with the Rossoneri again in the summer as his 1-year contract is about to end this season.

Nesta reportedly doesn’t feel that he can keep playing in such a tense environment with tight schedules and important targets to achieve, so moving to MLS club could be the solution his looking before fully retiring from football. This season, the 36-years-old didn’t managed to play as regularly as previous season with Milan, because of recurring injury problems, that seems to really get on his tools as he does have a bad injury history.

However, there’s still a chance that Nesta would stay in Milan, if the Rossoneri can provide some condition which the player accept, such as maybe not being given much playing time again purposely so he won’t have much injuries. Although it would be tough if the defender himself already feel his not up to play in higher level anymore, which might disappoint lots of Milan fans since on his day, the former Lazio captain can actually still produce brilliant performances.

Beside New York Red Bulls, there’s actually other teams that are also interested in getting Nesta next summer, such as Lazio and Juventus, but the veteran defender has already ruled out a move to the latter as they are the Rossoneri’s bitter rival. Meanwhile, as for the Biancocelesti, the 36-years-old might also rejected their proposal as he already feel attached as well with Milan and if he really decides to go, MLS might definitely be his next stop.
