Mourinho: Kaka Will Be Madrid’s January Signing

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has come out to dispel the rumours that Brazilian play maker Kaka will be leaving the Bernabeu in January. Kaka has been injured since June and an operation on his knee in August will keep him out of action for the rest of the year.

The ‘special one’ has apparently had a change of heart giving Kaka a rare shower of praise saying he will be a fantastic boost for the club. Kaka has struggled to replicate the form and fitness he had with Italian giants AC Milan and his consistent injuries have compounded his problems.

“Our big signing in the winter window will be Kaka,”

“He’ll be a fantastic boost for us. How many clubs can sign a Kaka in January? There are no players of his caliber on the market.”

I totally agree with Mourinho. When in form Kaka is definitely one of the best players in his position in the world. Despite many saying that his career might be over, Kaka is still fairly young and can improve.

Madrid prepare to face Ajax tonight in their Group F Champions League encounter at the Amsterdam Arena. With Cristiano Ronaldo in sizzling form and the determination to win at all costs, Madrid go into the match as favourites.

However, with a shot at making it to the next round, Aja will do everything to ensure they bag all 3 points on offer. AC Milan their only other challenger for a spot in the knock stage, travel to France to face Auxerre.

Both Milan and Ajax are level on 5 points and a win for either side could prove to be the ticket to the next round. Mourinho also assured fans that his main focus is to make history with the club.

“Real Madrid are a fascinating club and I really enjoy working here.

“That’s why I’m just focusing on doing a good job at Madrid – I want to make history here like I did with Porto, Chelsea and Inter.

“My goal is always to make the fans of my club happy and to improve my players’ self-worth, and I don’t want things to go any differently at Real Madrid.”
