Mourinho: Kaka Is Free To Go

Jose Mourinho’s latest statement that he will not stop Brazilian play maker Kaka from leaving Madrid confirms speculations that the 28 year old could be leaving Spain after all.

Mourinho has never hidden the fact that he is not a keen fan of the Brazilian and his latest remarks could give Moratti the green light to open talks about a possible move in the winter transfer window.

Kaka is claimed to sustained a knee injury while on international duty with Brazil in the World Cup and is the main reason for his lengthy lay off. He is not expected back in the squad until January.

Many fans  have expressed bitterness to Kaka’s indifferent form since his record breaking move from Milan  over a year ago. For 65 million Euros, the fans feel Kaka has failed to show that the Madrid crowd the talent that led to him winning the World Player of the year award three years ago.

Inter Milan are said to be closely monitoring Kaka’s situation, however, even if the negotiations do start, Kaka will have the final word. Many including myself believe that Kaka never really wanted to leave the San Siro and although he is a Madrid player, his heart is definitely in Milan.

Kaka is in a fix. If he moves to city rivals Inter, Milan fans hate toward him will grow deeper and he if he returns to the Rossoneri, he will have to live under the shadow of club ace Ronaldinho. Moreover, the fans would make his life in Milan a living hell.

That Said, should Kaka move to Inter, then you can be sure that the Milan derby would get bigger than it already is. In some way it would be the perfect reply to Ibrahimovic’s move to Milan.

To give my two cents worth on this debate, i think Kaka should remain with Real at least until he proves to this doubters just how wrong they were. His legacy is at stake and the next few months can prove how he will be remembered.
