Mourinho happy with Madrid's performance

Real Madrid put on a great show against AC Milan, in Champions League action; as Los Blancos went on to defeat the Italian club 2-0. Mourinho was happy with his club’s performance and hailed his side as “Fantastic”.

Madrid’s first goal came early in the 1st half as Cristiano Ronaldo nailed one into the net. Ronaldo enjoyed a great game and set-up a number of opportunities throughout the match, including the 2nd goal scored by Mesut Ozil.

Mourinho went on to say the following after the match:

“The physical, mental and tactical response of the team has been fantastic after the effort made against Malaga (Saturday night) and barely two days to prepare for the match. To play at this level was an incredible response from the players. I’m very happy because we’ve played very well. Now we have two away games before we finish the group at home to Auxerre and what we want is to have our place in the next round secured before this last game. First we must qualify and then go for first place.”

This marks Mourinho’s 8th win as a Madrid coach as he has yet to lose match. However, although they have been yet to be defeated so far, the club still has ways to go.
