Love him or hate him, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the world. The Swedish International has in the past few weeks been in the spotlight for revealing personal details about his professional relationships in some of the world’s biggest clubs.
Ibrahimovic who is scheduled to launch his autobiography in the next few days, continued with his shocking remarks on Wednesday during an interview with La Gazetta Dello Sport.
One thing i do know for sure, is that Ibrahimovic has done a good job hyping up his book. In fact, i have to say that i am seriously considering getting myself a copy. That said, for all the talent he possesses, Ibra sure has a lot to learn about improving his character.
The lanky striker has been in the news on many occassions for the wrongs reasons. Who can forget his nasty altercation with former team mate Oguchi Onyewu?
Ibra claims that contrary to what the press were told, the fight was so bad that they ‘almost killed themselves’!. Another act you cannot forget is how he kicked fellow team mate Antonio Cassano while he was giving an interview after Milan’s scudetto triumph. The list is endless.
However, when it comes to results, you cannot argue. Very few strikers can match Ibrahimovic toe for toe. A slight look at his goal scoring abilities reveal why he is the highest paid footballer in Italy.
Ibrahimovic has won an impressive 8 domestic league titles in a row with 5 different teams in 3 different countries. Ibrahimovic scored 57 goals in 88 appearances for Inter, 16 in 29 for Barcelona and already has an amazing 19 goals in 35 appearnaces for Milan.
Of course, many are waiting for the Milan v Barcelona return leg fixture of the Champions League against Barcelona in 3 weeks time as Ibrahimovic who missed the first match will be re united with former players and a coach who he defined as ‘having no balls’!
