After being linked with several South American based talents such as Ganso and Eric Lamela, the Rossoneri reportedly starts to turn their attention in acquiring talents from the Serie A competition instead as the newly crowned champion are eying Javier Pastore, Marek Hamsik and Kwando Asamoah.
Those players are precious talents that coincidentally would fit on the new young project that Milan are currently planning, as after already reducing their age margin quite a bit this season, next summer the Red and Black squad are eager to focus and quality, talented youngsters.
Already caught the eye of Milan’s higher ranks since still playing in the Argentinian league with Huracan, Palermo’s Javier Pastore has been linked again with a move to San Siro this season, after several confirmation from the Sicilian club’s bosses in recent weeks about the Rossoneri’s interest, the media suggested that the 22-years-old could be the gift Silvio Berlusconi has been promising. The trequartista’s fine performance in the latest Copa Italy clash against Milan few weeks ago apparently has convinced Berlusconi that the Argentina international would be the perfect man in helping the Red and Black fulfilling their ambition in conquering Europe next season.
Surely, acquiring Pastore surely won’t be an easy task since Palermo’s chief, Maurizio Zamparini is known to be a hard negotiator and has been asking quite a lot of money for his young prize asset. However, just like Zamparini previously stated that if the player himself would ask for a transfer than he won’t be holding his back, this sign pretty much opens the door for the Rossoneri in trying to start negotiation with the Sicilian side as soon as possible. Reports also suggested that the Rossoneri are willing to provide cash along with players in exchange for the service of the talented playmaker, a transfer proposal that could pretty much interest Zamparini.
Just like Pastore, Marek Hamsik is a talented young player that have previously been linked with Milan but the news gets big after the Rossoneri’s coach, Massimiliano Allegri reveals his affection towards the player in an interview recently. Allegri stated that Hamsik is a quality player that he would really love to coach in the future, a statement that pretty much urged the press speculation that the Napoli star is one of the player listed by Milan as their summer targets.
Despite of Milan’s strong interest, acquiring Hamsik next summer might actually be more harder than getting Pastore, not only because the Slovakian international simply because Napoli, who will also compete in the Champions League next summer, would definitely want to keep one of their important stars. Off course anything can happen in football, but this deal would require a very strong effort from the fashion capital club and maybe would also need the assistance of Hamsik himself, as if the midfielder would be asking for a transfer, things would be easier for the Rossoneri.
Udinese’s young talent, Kwando Asamoah has also starting to get into the Rossoneri’s wish list in the summer after recently Allegri also stated his praise for the Ghanian international midfielder. Further reports from Italy even suggested that Milan’s director, Ariedo Braida, has been talking with Asamoah’s agent not so long ago, fueling the speculation even more.
Compared with the two previous targets, acquiring Asamoah would actually be much more easier for the Rossoneri, but it seems in order for the transfer to happen, Milan would be waiting until their current contract negotiation with several older players finished. Should the Red and Black squad released some of their ‘veteran’ midfield players, then the Ghanian would probably be the first option considering he is ‘only’ being tagged around 15 million Euro, which is much more cheaper than both Pastore and Hamsik.
